Job Description
Condensed Matter and Complex Systems theory group at Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate in many‑body theory to work on the joint theory‑experiment program Understanding and Controlling Complex States Emerging from Frustration. The successful candidate will develop and study the models for the interplay between exotic magnetism and electronic transport or polarization, and will assist in designing experiments and in analyzing data with the goal of discovering and optimizing functional frustrated materials. A Ph.D. in Physics or related field completed within the last five years or soon to be completed is required. Candidates may be considered for a Director's Fellowship and outstanding candidates may be considered for the prestigious J. Robert Oppenheimer, Richard P. Feynman or Frederick Reines Fellowships.
