Position Description: Contributes to our Earth & Space Program (ESS), currently under development. Develops or currently has an active research program in the pedagogy of ESS education or makes scholarly connections to our existing strengths in earth and environmental sciences, physics, or astronomy. Faculty members are committed to supporting undergraduate research.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics, Physics Education, Geophysics or closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation. Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Outstanding teacher of lower division courses and willing to develop or adopt innovative science reform teaching methods. ABD will be considered if degree is conferred by August 2010
