The Project Manager will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities related to a new product line being designed and manufactured in the US. This product generates cw laser radiation based on well-established techniques in nonlinear optics. Working in concert with our established team this position will responsible for:
Managing ongoing development projects with a focus on:
Design for manufacturability
Vendor selection and management
Budget monitoring and management to bring project in on budget and on time
Contribution to and management of development schedule
Works as part of the engineering team and product management teams for successful product launch
Other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants should have:
Degree in scientific discipline (MS/PhD)
Significant experience and skill in hands-on work with cw lasers and optical techniques
Prior experience in project management and commercialization of optical systems
Must have experience bringing a product to market
Entrepreneurial, start-up mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as an outgoing personality and a desire to interact with people
Preference will be given to those with the unrestricted right to work in the United States
